Uruguay participated in the XI. Pan American Games in 1991 in Havana , Cuba , with a delegation of 74 athletes. Eight other athletes who participated in the figure skating and pelota demonstration competitions completed the team.

The Uruguayan athletes won a total of three medals in the course of the games, including one silver and two bronze medals in the figure skating demonstration competition.
