Weronika Borisovna Dudarova
Weronika Borisovna Dudarowa ( Russian Вероника Борисовна Дударова ; born November 22 . Jul / 5. December 1916 greg. In Baku ; † 15. January 2009 in Moscow ) was a Russian conductor.
Life
In 1947 Dudarova graduated from the Conducting Faculty of the Moscow Conservatory and became the conductor of the Moscow State Academic Symphony Orchestra . From 1960 to 1989 she was the director of this orchestra. From 1991 until her death, Dudarowa directed the Russian Symphony Orchestra.
In 1960 she was awarded as People's Artist of the RSFSR and in 1977 as People's Artist of the USSR .
