The West Asian Football Federation ( WAFF , German: West Asian Football Association ) is a football association for the West Asian national football associations. It was founded in 2001 by the associations of Iraq, Iran, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine and Syria. In 2009 the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Yemen also joined the association. With the accession of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman in 2010, all West Asian nations were members of the WAFF. Iran is now a member of the Central Asian Football Association (CAFA), which was reactivated in 2014 . The association organizes several competitions, including the West Asian Championship for men and women, an U-16 championship and the Futsal championship.
