The Westereindflat is a block of flats at the Harry Koningsbergerstraat in town district Slotermeer in Amsterdam District Nieuw-West . It was built between 1956 and 1957 according to plans by the architects Jan Rietveld and PR Bloemsma. In 2007 the building was included in the top 100 Dutch monuments 1940–1958 , and since 2010 it has been a Rijksmonument .

The reinforced concrete house is located at the northeastern end of the Slotermeer district in an exposed location on the Amsterdam – Schiphol railway line as well as on Rijksweg N200 and the A10 ring road . The cooperative apartment block has a total of ten floors with originally 83 one-room apartments (32 m²) and 44 two-room apartments (48 m²) for single people. Each of the apartments, distributed over nine floors, has a kitchen, shower, balcony and storage room.

The window frames protrude slightly from the white facade, which is visible from afar. The design of the main façade is continued on the side gables with a seamless transition in the form of corner windows. A glass auditorium with a restaurant and terrace that was originally planned by the architect was not realized and replaced by office space.
