The Wey River is a river in the northwest of the Australian state of Tasmania .
geography
River course
The river has its source in Talbots Lagoon , about three and a half kilometers east of the Guildford settlement . It first flows north and after about four kilometers turns its course to the northwest. It crosses under Mount Road about 15 kilometers northeast of the small town of Warratah and shortly thereafter flows into the Hellyer River .
