The Whited Inlet is an ice-covered bay at the Oates Coast in the north of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It lies between Northrup Head and the Anderson Peninsula .

The United States Geological Survey mapped them using the United States Navy's own surveys and aerial photographs from 1960 to 1963. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named them in 1970 after Robert J. Whited, chief of staff and member of task forces for mapping work during the Operation Deep Freeze in 1968 and 1969.
