The Wickham River is a river in the northwest of the Australian Territory of Northern Territory . Often it has little or no water in the dry season .
geography
River course
The river arises on the southern slopes of Mount Kinon west of Gregory National Park at the confluence of Emily Creek and Lily Creek . It flows northeast through the southern part of the national park and flows through the settlement of Victoria River Downs . From there it accompanies the Buchanan Highway for about 12 km and finally passes under it shortly before its confluence with the Victoria River .
