The Wielka Sucha Dolina , formed by glaciers in the Ice Age, is a valley in the Polish Western Tatras in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship . It is located in the municipality of Kościelisko in the powiat Tatrzański .

The valley is a side valley of the Dolina Chochołowska .
etymology
The name can be translated as "great dry valley".
Flora and fauna
The valley lies below the tree line and is overgrown by coniferous forest. The valley is a retreat for numerous mammals and bird species.
