The Wiens Peak is a 1250 m high mountain in the West Antarctic Queen Elizabeth Land . In the Neptune Range of the Pensacola Mountains, it rises at the eastern end of the Elliott Ridge .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own measurements and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1956 to 1966. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1965 after Rudolph H. Wiens, aurora researcher at Ellsworth Station in the Antarctic winter of 1962.
