Wiesław Dziadura (born October 20, 1956 in Gdańsk ) is a former Polish wrestler in the Greco-Roman style. He fought in the Greco-Roman style in the weight class up to 74 kg.

Life

With the rings Wiesław Dziadura 1970 began at the club Spójnia Gdańsk ; his first coach was Tadeusz Chrupcała . After winning the bronze medal at the European Junior Championships in 1976, he moved to CWKS Legia Warszawa in Warsaw in the same year , where he was trained by Bolesław Dubicki . From 1976 to 1985 he was part of the Polish national team under Janusz Tracewski and Stanisław Krzesiński .

1980 Wiesław Dziadura took part in the Olympic Games in Moscow and finished there in 9th place. A year later he won the 5th place at the World Championships in Oslo and was also Polish champion. Andrzej Supron has been his greatest athletic competitor throughout his career . They faced each other at virtually every national championship and tournament.

Wiesław Dziadura studied at the technical college in Gdansk . He is also a graduate of the Akademia Wychowania Fizycznego sports university. Eugeniusza Piaseckiego in Poznan and holds a 1st class coaching license.

After his career as an active athlete, Wiesław Dziadura first trained the juniors of the CWKS Legia Warszawa. He then became assistant coach to Bolesław Dubicki in the seniors' club. At the same time he worked with Stanisław Krzesiński, Ryszard Świerad , Józef Tracz and Piotr Stępień in the national team. He was also the second coach of the Polish junior national team with Jan Potocki.

In 2001 Wiesław Dziadura returned actively to the mat. He took part in the Veterans World Championships in Székesfehérvár , Hungary , and won gold in the category up to 76 kg.

family

Wiesław Dziadura's wife Krystyna played basketball in the Polish 1st division. His sister Beata Dziadura took part in rowing in the Olympic Games. His brother Andrzej Dziadura was a successful walker in Poland and his daughter Marta Dziadura is multiple world champion in modern pentathlon .
