Wolfgang Saaman

Wolfgang Saaman (born April 26, 1947 in Hagen ) is a German entrepreneur, management consultant and book author as well as a university professor in Armenia .

Life

After completing a business apprenticeship , Saaman studied business administration and psychology in Germany and the Netherlands . In 1977 he finished his studies with a doctorate in philosophy at the Social Science University in Haarlem with the subject of linguistic psychology. He then went through non-university advanced training programs, organizational development, group dynamics , topic-centered interaction and psychoanalytic approaches, and in 1989 he graduated as a psychodrama therapist at the Bergerhausen Psychotherapeutic Institute with Hans-Werner Gessmann .

From 1975 to 1977 he was assistant to the head of the Bad Harzburg leadership academy. In 1977 he founded the Institute for Employee Advancement and Organizational Development, which he headed until 1984. From 1984 to 1997 he was the managing partner of the Mummert Group and was responsible for various business areas, during which time he was Chairman of the Management Board of Mummert + Partner Management Consulting, Chairman of the Holding Management of the Meyer Mark Group and Managing Director of the Mummert + Partner Dachgesellschaft. In 1998, Saaman founded a consulting firm that was run as Saaman Consultants AG from 2004 (later Saaman AG), of which he was CEO. Since November 2019, the company has been managed as Saaman GmbH through another change of legal form. As sole shareholder and member of the management, Wolfgang Saaman continues to lead the company. Since 06/2014 he has been professor for performance culture in the psychology department at the University of "Progress". Until 2001, Saaman was a Dutch citizen.

As an entrepreneur, consultant and author, he works in the fields of performance culture and personnel diagnostics (management audits, potential analyzes, psychometric procedures).
