Career
Viktor Bobrov began his career as a hockey player in the youth department of HK CSKA Moscow , where he was active until 2002. He was then selected in the NHL Entry Draft 2002 in the fifth round as a total of 146th player by the Calgary Flames , for which he however never played. Instead, the winger ran from 2002 to 2004 in the Wysschaja Liga , the second Russian division, for the professional Elemasch Elektrostal team - renamed Kristall Elektrostal for the 2003/04 season . For the 2004/05 season, the left-shot returned to CSKA Moscow, but was only used for its second team in the third-rate Pervaya League , which is why he spent the 2005/06 season at HK Dmitrov in the Vysschaya League.
In the summer of 2006 Bobrov signed a contract with Chimik Voskressensk from the Vysschaya League. With his team, the Russian rose in the 2007/08 season as a second division champion in the newly founded Continental Hockey League . In the 2008/09 season he scored four goals in 55 games and made 15 assists. Then Chimik had to withdraw from the KHL for financial reasons. However, Bobrow stayed in the KHL and moved to Vitjas Chekhov for the 2009/10 season , for which he was on the ice until 2011.
In the summer of 2011, Bobrov was obliged by Atlant Moskovskaya Oblast and completed 68 KHL games for the club by December 2012 before he was given to HK Sibir Novosibirsk . He played for Sibir until the end of January 2013 and then moved to HK Spartak Moscow .
After the 2013/14 season he returned to Sibir and was part of the permanent staff for the following two years. After the 2015/16 season he did not get a new contract with Sibir and therefore moved back to Spartak Moscow.
