Viktor Korsch

Wiktor Korsch ( Russian Виктор Корж ; * 1933 ) is a former Soviet weightlifter .

Career

Viktor Korsch, who came from Rostov- on- Don , was a Soviet weightlifter who lifted a full decade among the best in the world. Although he never succeeded in beating his great rivals Ivan Udodow , Rafael Tschimischkian or Evgeni Minajew in important competitions, he was always good for excellent results. In the 1950s, he even managed to achieve some world records while pressing.

Viktor Korsch was a member of the Soviet security forces.
