Viktor Wassiljewitsch Butakow ( Russian Виктор Васильевич Бутаков ; born February 8, 1928 in Baschenowo , Belojarsky , Sverdlovsk Oblast ; † June 19, 1977 ) was a former Soviet biathlete .

Viktor Butakov won the bronze medal behind Adolf Wiklund and Olle Gunneriusson in the single race, the individual, at the biathlon world championship held for the first time in 1958 in Saalfelden . In the unofficial team competition, he finished second with Valentin Pschenizyn , Dmitri Sokolow and Alexander Gubin behind the Swedes and ahead of Norway.
