Wiktoria Vendela Johansson (born November 8, 1996 ) is a Swedish singer and songwriter who usually appears under her first name Wiktoria . She gained fame primarily through her participation in the Melodifestivalen .

Life

Johansson grew up in Brämhult in Borås municipality . She later moved to Stockholm . In 2011 she took part in the Lilla Melodifestivalen with a song she wrote herself , the winner of which represents Sweden at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest . She scored fourth place in the competition.

In spring 2016 she took part for the first time in the Melodifestivalen , the Swedish preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest . There she reached fourth place with her contribution Save Me . At Melodifestivalen 2017 , she finished sixth with As I Lay Me Down in the finals. In 2019 she performed the ballad Not With Me at Melodifestivalen . She was again sixth in the final.
