Wild-Eyed Southern Boys ( Billboard 200 # 18) is the fourth studio album by the southern rock band 38 Special , released in May 1981. It has three hit singles: Hold on Loosely ( Billboard Hot 100 # 3), Fantasy Girl (# 30) and Wild-Eyed Southern Boys (# 35).

The album was awarded a platinum record by the RIAA on June 10, 1981.
Mike DeGagne from allmusic awards four and a half out of five points and says: "Wild-Eyed Southern Boys marked the onset of the band's success throughout the course of the decade" (Wild-Eyed Southern Boys marked the beginning of their success for the band in the further course of the Decade).
