Wilfried Rettig

Wilfried Rettig (born December 5, 1942 in Dorfstadt ) is a German railway engineer and author on the railway history of the Vogtland and Upper Lusatia.

Rettig first studied at the University of Transport in Dresden, graduating in 1967 with a degree in engineering. After that he was involved in research and development at the Deutsche Reichsbahn until 1991 . From 1991 he worked at the Minden Research Station of the Deutsche Bundesbahn and later at DB Systemtechnik .
