Wilfried Richter
Wilfried Richter (born May 9, 1936 in Berlin ) is a retired German diplomat .
Life
In 1959 he laid the first legal from state examination and entered the preparatory service for the higher Foreign Service. After his career examination he was employed in Bonn, Guatemala City, next to the UN headquarters and in Madrid . He was then employed again in Bonn and Cairo. From 1988 to 1991 he had exequatur as consul general in Sao Paulo. From 1992 to 1994 he was ambassador to Lisbon . From May 11, 1995 to 1999 he was the representative for Latin American policy and from 1999 to 2002 he was ambassador to Caracas .
