Wilhelm Broekmann

Wilhelm Broekmann (born April 17, 1842 in Kleve ; † March 10, 1916 in Bad Neuenahr ) was a lawyer and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Broekmann attended grammar school in Kleve from 1854 to 1862 and studied law and cameralia in Berlin , Heidelberg and Bonn . In 1867 he became an auscultator, in 1869 trainee lawyer, in 1872 court assessor at the district court of Kleve and in the same year a justice of the peace. In 1879 he was magistrate in Neuchâtel and in 1898 magistrate in Ahrweiler .

From 1882 to 1908 he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives and from 1893 to 1903 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Trier 1 administrative district ( Daun , Bitburg , Prüm ) and the German Center Party .
