Wilhelm Freiherr Haller von Hallerstein

Wilhelm Dieter Freiherr Haller von Hallerstein (born April 18, 1952 in Munich as Wilhelm Dieter Trey ) is a German bank manager.

Life

After studying business administration at the Munich University of Applied Sciences and at the Ludwig Maximilians University there, he worked for Bayerische Landesbank from 1980 . In 1986 he moved to Deutsche Bank , where he rose through various positions in Munich (corporations and major customers), Chemnitz (corporate customers), Stuttgart (private and corporate customers) to the management of the group. After the takeover of the Sal. Oppenheim bank in 2009, he was appointed General Manager there and took over as CEO of the company. From November 2013 to November 2015 he was on the Management Board of Deutsche Bank Privat- und Business Customers AG. As a board member, he was responsible for running the company.

Haller von Hallerstein is on the supervisory board of Nolte GmbH & Co. KGaA.

Von Hallerstein is married to Felicitas Freiin Haller von Hallerstein , whose family name he adopted after the marriage. He has two grown children. In 2016 he received the title of Honorary Senator from the Philosophical-Theological University of Vallendar .
