Wilhelm Friedrich Wulff (also Wilhelm Friedrich Wulf ; * February 23, 1808 in Hamburg ; † November 18, 1882 ibid) was a German landscape and marine painter of the Hamburg School , graphic artist, etcher and lithographer .

Artistic career

In Hamburg he attended the drawing school of S. Bendixen in order to continue his education in Munich from 1829. In the following period Wulff became a member of the Hamburg artists' colony in Munich and executed small landscape paintings in Dorner's manner. He also made naval pictures in the style of Schotel . Wilhelm Friedrich Wulff was a member of the Hamburg Artists' Association from 1832 .

His, not chronologically assigned, works include lithographed beach views as well as a view of Heligoland as the main picture, around which smaller views are arranged. Due to chemical burns on the printing plate, no further prints could be made beyond the lithographs.
