Wilhelm Grosser

Wilhelm Grosser (* 1909 ; † unknown) was a German athlete who was successful as a sprinter in the late 1920s . Together with Helmut Körnig , Alex Nathan and Hermann Schlöske , his comrades from SC Charlottenburg , he won the German championship over 4 x 100 meters in 1929 and 1930 .

The time of 40.8 s that ran in Breslau in 1929 . meant the setting of the world record set by Arthur Jonath , Richard Corts , Hubert Houben and Helmut Körnig in Berlin a year earlier . It was re-hired in 1931 by a team from the University of Southern California before being pushed to 40.6 s by Koernig, Georg Lammers , Erich Borchmeyer, and Jonath in 1932 .
