Wilhelm Jastram

Heinrich August Wilhelm Jastram (born May 29, 1860 in Friedland , Kingdom of Hanover , † December 29, 1936 in Lüneburg ) was a German writer and local researcher who dealt in particular with the history and places of Northern Germany .

Life

While studying theology, Jastram became a member of the Primislavia Berlin fraternity in 1880 .

In 1886 he became a pastor in Posthausen before he worked as a pastor in Betzendorf from 1888 to 1899 . He dealt with his time there in the novel Holtorfer Doris , with the result that eight years after he left for Echem there was a lawsuit because numerous people recognized themselves in it; however, he was acquitted. In Echem he remained a pastor until his death.

After his novel mats Bautz - A village story from the Elbmarsch (1911), the book was published Yet .

After that he dealt in particular with the Lüne monastery and published a novel in 1914 in the first and in 1925 in the second edition with the title Kloster Lüne . Jastram wrote the lyrics to Nikolaus lied cheekily and cheerfully to the melody of Prinz Eugen, der Edel Ritter , which appeared in the World War II song collection in 1926 . Then Burschenfrohsinn, Burschenmut (1927), which he dedicated to his fraternity for the 50th foundation festival, and 250 years ago (1930) appeared.
