Wilhelm Karl Robra (born September 29, 1876 in Berlinchen , Neumark , † 1945 ) was a German sculptor .

life and work

Robra joined the Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Berlin (KPM) on October 10, 1890 as an apprentice modeller , where he worked until 1900. In 1902 he rejoined the company. He mainly produced designs of animal representations in the Art Nouveau and Art Deco style , which were handcrafted in bronze by foundries such as the Kraas Berlin art foundry and by porcelain manufacturers such as KPM or the Nymphenburg porcelain factory .

His works had titles such as:
