Wilhelm Keune (born August 30, 1905 in Melverode , Braunschweig district , † June 21, 1974 in Wolfenbüttel ) was a German entrepreneur and politician ( FDP ). He was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament from 1947 to 1949.

After graduating from high school in Braunschweig, Keune attended the Holzminden country school home. He completed an apprenticeship in the field of canning and was then a volunteer in Sweden, Helmstedt , Eulitz (today the municipality of Leuben-Schleinitz ) and Quedlinburg for a total of 20 months. In 1931 he took over his father's company, the 0.Keune canning factory in Wolfenbüttel . He joined the National Socialist German Workers' Party in 1933 , but was expelled from the party again in 1934. In 1944 he was arrested for political reasons and sentenced to death in December 1944. The reason for the arrest were pacifist statements within the company that put him on death row in Berlin-Moabit prison. A few days before the execution came the liberation by the Allied troops.

After his liberation in 1945 and after the end of the Second World War, he continued to run his father's canning company.

Keune was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament from April 20, 1947 to November 4, 1949 (1st electoral period).
