Wilhelm Kotzenberg

Wilhelm Kotzenberg (born August 20, 1873 in Frankfurt am Main , † January 23, 1940 in Hamburg ) was a German surgeon and university professor .

Life

Kotzenberg, a student of Hermann Kümmel , was senior surgeon from 1906 to 1909, head physician from 1909 and head of the surgical outpatient clinic at Eppendorf General Hospital from 1919 to 1925. In 1919 he completed his habilitation and in 1922 became an adjunct professor of orthopedics (from 1934 a scheduled adjunct professor). From 1925 he was director of the surgical clinic (from 1926 surgical university polyclinic). He also headed the orthopedic clinic (also from 1926 orthopedic university and polyclinic). In 1938 he retired.

He worked on the manual of internal medicine (1st edition, Volume 6, 1919).
