Wilhelm Pelkmann (born April 8, 1905 in Münster , † February 9, 1983 ) was a German CDU politician .

education and profession

After attending primary school, Wilhelm Pelkmann completed a craft apprenticeship. He passed the journeyman's and master's examination and was later head master. Pelkmann was state chairman of the orthopedic Schumacher trade for Westphalia-Lippe and from 1931 he ran his own business.

politics

Wilhelm Pelkmann was a member of the CDU from 1945. From 1959 he was deputy chairman of the CDU of the Recklinghausen district . From 1956 on, he acted as chairman of the Dorsten municipal and municipal union . As councilor of the city of Dorsten he was active from 1952, as well as deputy mayor of Dorsten from 1956. From 1961 Pelkmann was official representative in Hervest-Dorsten as well as parliamentary group chairman of the CDU. He was a member of the Recklinghausen district council from 1961.

Wilhelm Pelkmann was directly elected member of the 5th state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia for constituency 091 Recklinghausen-Land-Südwest from July 23, 1962 to July 23, 1966 .
