Wilhelm Philipps (General)
Wilhelm Philipps (born July 29, 1894 in Barmen ; † February 13, 1971 in Bonn ) was a German officer , last lieutenant general in World War II .
Life
Philipps served as an officer in the First World War . After the war he switched to the Reichswehr and worked as a commander in various units. During the Second World War he was in command of the 3rd Panzer Division .
