Wilhelm Rausch (historian)
Wilhelm Rausch (born January 14, 1927 in Vienna ; † February 14, 2019 in Groß Gerungs ) was an Austrian historian .
He studied history and geography at the University of Vienna and then completed a training course at the Institute for Austrian Historical Research . In 1954 Rausch took over the management of the archive and library of the city of Linz . At the beginning of 1978 Wilhelm Rausch was appointed director of cultural administration for the city of Linz. In 1987 he retired.
