Wilhelm Schneider (politician, 1915)

Wilhelm "Willi" Schneider (born June 19, 1915 in Munich ; † May 10, 2003 in Ingolstadt ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Schneider grew up in Jetzendorf in the Pfaffenhofen district . There he also attended elementary school before he graduated from high school in Ingolstadt . After a phase in the labor service, he studied at a university in Munich and completed his preparatory service in Aichach . In 1941 he was employed at the Ingolstadt vocational school. At the end of the Second World Warhe was called up for military service. In 1946 he became deputy head of the vocational school with advanced school, in 1967 its director later also senior director. For a short time he was also the honorary director of the adult education center and founding chairman of the theater community Volksbühne Ingolstadt. At the SPD, he was chairman of the Donau / Ilm sub-district and was a member of the state committee. From 1956 to 1967 he was a member of the city council, from 1966 to 1974 a member of the Bavarian state parliament .
