Wilhelm Trautmann (politician)
Wilhelm Trautmann (born July 29, 1846 in Bitterfeld , † February 5, 1903 in Halle an der Saale ) was a lawyer and member of the German Reichstag .
Life
Trautmann attended the high school in Sangerhausen and the Latin. Secondary school in Halle. He studied law at the University of Halle. He completed his legal clerkship in Halle, Naumburg and Berlin . Afterwards he was court commissioner in Staßfurt before becoming a lawyer. Passed her exam in Naumburg in 1868. He took part in the war of 1870/71 and received the Iron Cross 2nd class . After the assessor examination in 1874 he worked as a district judge in Staßfurt.
Between 1878 and 1881 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the National Liberal Party and the Magdeburg 7 constituency ( Calbe , Aschersleben ). He is the father of the politician Paul Trautmann .
