Wilhelm Uppenborn

Wilhelm Uppenborn (* 1904 in Berlin ; † February 3, 1988 in Krefeld-Traar ) was a German certified farmer , author and Prussian country stable master.

He began his professional career in the royal Hungarian stud farms of Kisbér , Bábolna and Mezőhegyes . He worked as a consultant and head of a thoroughbred breed in the Irish county of Kildare ( Curragh ), in England and France. He then worked at the Neustadt (Dosse) stud farm . This was followed by the post of head of the stallion testing institute Zwion-Georgenburg in East Prussia.

He was also the state stable master of the state studs in Osnabrück-Eversburg, Hanover and Rastenburg .
