Wilhelm Vollmann (politician)

Wilhelm Vollmann (born September 6, 1939 in Cologne ) is a German politician and was an unofficial employee of the GDR State Security .

Life

After graduating from high school in 1959, Vollmann studied psychology in Cologne, Bonn, Mainz and Bremen to become a qualified psychologist. In 1976 he received his doctorate from the University of Bremen on the subject of "Eligible? Epistemological considerations and an empirical study on the subject of public research subsidies". With interruptions he was a research assistant at the University of Bonn , Institute for Psychology, and was also active in organizational, IT, communication and personnel consulting (aptitude diagnostics).

Vollmann was a member of the SPD from 1968 to 1994 . From 1973 to 1975 he was chairman of the Working Group of Young Socialists in the SPD, State Association of North Rhine-Westphalia. Until September 1993 Vollmann was a member of the sub-district executive committee of Cologne, the district committee Mittelrhein of the SPD, in the council of the city of Cologne and temporarily deputy parliamentary group chairman and until 1989 in the Rhineland Regional Assembly.
