Wilhelm van Kampen

Wilhelm van Kampen (* 1934) is a German historian and history teacher . He worked as an academic senior councilor for modern history and didactics of history at the University of Osnabrück , and until his retirement he was head of the Berlin archives and information department of the Berlin State Image Center . From 1979 to 1983 he was chairman of the Conference for History Didactics .

Other memberships and functions: Board member in the study group for broadcasting and history and in the international society for history didactics . Member of the contemporary history advisory board of the Institute for Scientific Film , Göttingen, board member and (temporarily) president of the International Association for Media and History .
