The Prešov short story competition (Slovak: Prešovská súťaž krátkych poviedok v nemeckom jazyku ) was a German-language literary competition in Slovakia and was held nationwide from 2009 to 2015.

Goal and implementation

The competition aimed to promote the German language in Slovakia. Young people should use the language casually, but at the same time artfully or artistically. The competition consisted of one section each for schoolchildren and students.
