Wilhelm Prince of Anhalt-Bernburg (born April 19, 1771 at Schloss Schaumburg , † March 25, 1799 near Stockach ) was a military man.

Life

Wilhelm Prinz von Anhalt-Bernburg was in 1771, the son of Prince Charles Louis of Anhalt-Bernburg-Schaumburg-Hoym (1723 to 1806) and his second wife Eleanor (1734-1811), the daughter of Prince Frederick William of Solms-Braunfels , born . In 1796, as a colonel, he commanded the infantry regiment "Kaiser". On July 9th of this year he took part in the battle of Nauheim , the next year in that of Kehl and on March 20, 1799 in the battle of Ostrach . Five days later he was fatally wounded in the Battle of Stockach .
