Wilhelmine von Sydow
Wilhelmine von Sydow , pseudonym Isidore Grönau (born November 26, 1789 in Thumitz , † June 25, 1867 in Schleusingen ) was a German author.
Wilhelmine Friederike Karoline von Sydow was a daughter of the Danish captain Karl Friedrich von Criegern. In 1809 she married Friedrich von Sydow and followed him to various garrisons, most recently in Erfurt . In 1830 the family went to Sondershausen , where they became head of a women's association. She spent the last phase of her life with the family of one of her daughters in Schleusingen.
Wilhelmine von Sydow wrote trivial novels and household advice.
Her sons were u. a. Emil von Sydow and Oskar von Sydow .
