history

The Heinrichshof, which today belongs to Wilhelminenthal, was first mentioned in 1717. At that time it was still a single farm, the place is only shown on maps from around 1800. Until now, the farm and a few surrounding houses have been referred to as field houses . In 1802 the name was changed. Wilhelmine Charlotte Helene von Nostitz from the house of Buch in Strelitz , born on May 15, 1765, married in Ullersdorf to Johann Gottfried von Nostitz, was the namesake at the time. She and her mother-in-law took special care of the young mothers in the ward. At the Poetenteich in Ullersdorf, two monuments remember the two women. As early as the 17th century, a few death sentences related to crimes in Jänkendorf and Ullersdorf were carried out on the Galgenberg, which is a bit out of the way in today's local area.

Since 1994 Wilhelminenthal has been part of the municipality of Waldhufen as a district of Jänkendorf.
