The Wilhelmsberg is a 204 m high hill in Wiesloch in the Rhein-Neckar district in Baden-Württemberg . It is located northeast of the city center on the border with Nussloch . The northern flank is characterized by a dry beech forest. Further south is the Wilhelmshöhe quarter and the PZN Wiesloch . According to the landscape plan of the Heidelberg-Mannheim Neighborhood Association from 1999, the Pingen Forest , which contains the remains of mining activity in the Middle Ages, and the former clay and ore mining areas on Wilhelmsberg are historically significant. At the same time, heavy metal pollution is the subject of studies.
