The Wilkins Nunatak is a Nunatak near the Ruppert Coast of the West Antarctic Marie Byrd Land . It rises as the northernmost of three Nunatakkern, the others are the Bailey and Partridge Nunatak , 10 km southwest of the Ickes Mountains .

The United States Geological Survey mapped it on the basis of aerial photographs of the United States Navy and its own surveys between 1959 and 1965. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1966 after Melvin L. Wilkins, quartermaster on the icebreaker USS Glacier , which between 1961 and 1962 before the Ruppert coast operated.
