The Patridge Nunatak is a 730 m high nunatak on the Ruppert coast of the West Antarctic Marie Byrd Land . It rises as the westernmost of three Nunatakkern south of the Ickes Mountains , the others are the Bailey and Wilkins Nunatak , on the northern flank of the White Glacier .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it using aerial photographs of the United States Navy and its own surveys between 1959 and 1965. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1970 after Billy W. Partridge, who was responsible for the equipment at Byrd Station in 1966 .
