Will Brenton

Will Brenton (other spelling: Wil Brenton , born November 11, 1962 in Leeds , West Yorkshire , England ) is an English television producer , screenwriter , director and actor .

Life

Brenton grew up in Liverpool . In 1986 he graduated from the Welsh College of Music and Drama and became a professional actor and performer on Godspell , Lark Rise to Candleford and The Meg and Mog Show . Later he played the pantomime in many in the Belgrade Theater . Will directed more than 100 episodes, prior to working for the BBC , on the location-based art show Bitza .

Since then, he has risen to the fore, co-developing some of today's most popular children's programs and receiving numerous awards including a BAFTA , a Royal Television Society Award , six BAFTA nominations and 14 other awards and nominations from British Animation Awards . Together with Iain Lauchlan , he created and produced the BBC's largest children's commission, Tweenies , and the ITV's largest to date , Jim, Jam & Sunny . Some of his other programs are called Boo! , BB3B! and Fun Song Factory .
