Will Self
Will Self (born September 26, 1961 in London ) is a British writer and journalist. His work is considered satirical , grotesque, and fantastic literature.
Life
Self studied philosophy at Exeter College , Oxford and is a writer, critic, illustrator and journalist. He worked for newspapers, radio and television. Self was known for his drug scandals and city walks; he was a member of the punk band The Abusers . His novel Umbrella was shortlisted for the Booker Prize in 2012 .
