Willet G. Miller Medal
The Willet G. Miller Medal (German "Willet G. Miller Medal") is a prize for geosciences from the Royal Society of Canada . It was donated in 1941 in memory of Willet Green Miller (1867–1925). Miller was a geologist , Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada (FRSC) and played an important role in the development of the mining industry in Ontario . A gold-plated silver medal is associated with the award . It is usually awarded every two years.
