Willi Fischer (politician, 1920)

Willi Fischer (born November 15, 1920 in Mayen , † September 2, 1991 in Worms ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Life

Fischer joined the NSDAP in 1938 ( membership number 7,127,773). From 1939 to 1945 he was in the Wehrmacht .

From 1945 to 1948 he completed a law degree and then from 1950 to 1953 worked as a managing director in the automotive and mineral oil industry. Fischer joined the SPD in 1949, was legal protection secretary at DGB Neuwied from 1953 to 1958 and mayor of Bad Hönningen from 1958 to 1963 . He was then from 1963 to 1969 district administrator for the Worms district . Fischer was a member of the German Bundestag from 1969 to 1980. Each time he was directly elected in the Worms constituency.
