Willi Habermann
Willi Habermann (born February 12, 1922 in Neu-Ulm ; † October 13, 2001 in Bad Mergentheim ) was a Swabian dialect poet.
Life
In his youth, Willi Habermann (nickname "Grogo") belonged to the circle of friends of Hans and Sophie Scholl , who resisted National Socialism under the name of White Rose . He contributed material to the circular Windlicht initiated by Otl Aicher and is one of around 30 people who are portrayed in the Weisse Rose Memorial in Ulm .
Later he was a teacher at the Deutschorden grammar school in Bad Mergentheim. As a dialect poet he wrote a. a. Aphorisms and Swabian translations of Psalms and other parts of the Bible .
