Willi Hasselbach

Willi Hasselbach (born March 27, 1922 in Steckenroth ; † November 23, 2004 ) was a Hessian politician ( FDP ) and a member of the Hessian state parliament .

education and profession

After primary school and agricultural apprenticeship, Willi Hasselbach attended the agricultural vocational school from 1936 to 1938.

He was a participant in the war and returned home badly damaged. Willi Hasselbach was a farmer, from 1946 to 1952 he was a local farmer .

politics

Since March 1, 1949, Willi Hasselbach was a member of the FDP and was active there in various board positions. From 1961 to 1968 he was district chairman of the FDP.

From 1952 until the town was merged with Hohenstein as part of the regional reform in Hesse in 1973, he was honorary mayor in Steckenroth. Willi Hasselbach was a member of the district council of the Untertaunuskreis from 1952 to 1972. Willi Hasselbach was chairman of the FDP parliamentary group there.

From December 1, 1950 to November 30, 1970, Willi Hasselbach was a member of the Hessian state parliament for five electoral terms.

In 1964 Willi Hasselbach was a member of the 4th Federal Assembly .

Other offices

In 1948 he was the initiator for the foundation of the district farmers' association Untertaunus eV and was its chairman until 1977.
