Willi Parchmann

Wilhelm "Willi" Parchmann (born June 18, 1890 in Rostock ; † May 13, 1943 ) was a German politician ( NSDAP ) and chief forester .

Life

Parchmann attended the Forest Academy in Eisenach and studied from 1909 to 1914 at the University of Rostock. From 1914 to 1918 he took part in the First World War as a soldier . He then worked as the Princely Chief Forester in Aue and Wingeshausen , was a member of the Reich Forestry Council, and from 1921 he was chairman of the Reich Association for Private Forestry Officers in Germany. From 1933 he was head of the forest policy department in the Reich Ministry of Food and Agriculture . In 1934 he was appointed Ministerial Counselor, later Ministerial Director. In the Reichsforstamt founded in 1934 , Parchmann headed the department for forest and timber industry policy.

Parchmann was a member of the DNVP from 1918 to 1924 , and from 1928 to 1930 he was a member of the German National Freedom Party . From 1929 to 1935 he was a member of the SA . In 1930 he joined the NSDAP ( membership number 262.778). From 1930 to June 1933 Parchmann was district leader of the NSDAP in the Wittgenstein district (Westphalia). In 1931 he became a specialist in forestry at the NSDAP Reich leadership. From 1932 until the dissolution of parliament in autumn 1933 he was a member of the Prussian state parliament . In 1935 Parchmann became a member of the SS (SS no. 254,636). In April 1941, he was promoted to SS-Brigadführer within the SS .
