Willi Rohner

Willi Kurt Rohner (born January 19, 1907 in St. Gallen ; † April 2, 1977 , citizen of St. Margrethen ) was a Swiss politician ( FDP ).

After studying economics at the University of Zurich , he worked as an editor for various newspapers from 1932 to 1957 . From 1942 to 1968 he was a member of the St. Gallen Cantonal Council , from 1951 to 1952 of the National Council and from 1952 to 1971 of the Council of States , of which he was President in the 1966/1967 year of office. From 1958 to 1960 he was also represented on the Altstätten council.
