Willi Vogel (painter)
Willi Vogel (born October 25, 1909 in Aumund-Fähr / Blumenthal district , † January 1, 1987 in Teufelsmoor ) was a German painter .
Life
As the son of a riveting master, Vogel learned to be a machinist on the Bremer Vulkan after graduating from elementary school .
After 1945 he set up his first own studio in the Blumenthaler Wasserburg and he studied for two semesters at the Bremen art school on the wall, then in the private school of Karl Kriete in Bremen-Lesum .
Works
Together with his master student "Eva" (1940–2014) Willi Vogel designed the back wall of the grandstand of the Burgwall Stadium in Bremen-Blumenthal with 24 individual images. They show landscapes, genre and flower motifs.
